Fine Ales & Wines

Chris arrived on Fair Green in 2003 when he opened The Fayre View Restaurant offering fine dining and accommodation, having previously worked as head chef at a local pub. When the opportunity arose to become landlord of the neighbouring pub it seemed an opportunity not to be missed (well he spends most of his time there anyway!!!)

The bar offers a wide selection of typically 6 real ales from the cellar, with 2 rotating guest ales, which has led to recognition and listing of The Cock by CAMRA.

A full range of standard and premium lagers, ciders and spirits are also available, as well as a carefully researched wine list including special champagnes and sparkling wines.

A space-heated oak-beamed covered smoking deck caters for all, and the unique position facing Fair Green's famous sunsets makes The Cock an ideal destination for family customers.

But above all - It's still a pub!
